Police Chief, stated that the police would further expand its activities in the
field of cyber security by giving importance to various awareness activities
along with law enforcement. He was officially
declaring 2021 as the year of safety and security of children in a function
held at the Police Headquarters in Thiruvananthapuram. It is the duty of every
individual to protect the rights of children and there should be an environment
in the society where children can live without fear, he added. The logo of the
Year of Safety and Security 2021 was also released in the function.
A book titled 'Safe
in Cyber Space' prepared by the Kerala Police Cyber Dome was released in the
event, which includes warnings to be followed against cyber scams. Manoj
Abraham, ADGP Headquarters, S Syamsundar, DIG Headquarters and officials from
Cyber Dome and C-DAC were also present in the function held at the Police Headquarters
in Thiruvananthapuram.
